The spectacular 3C race truck again attracted a large number of schoolchildren and young people starting their careers, and there were new developments: in order to further expand the range of professions, the Landsberg-based high-tech company will also be offering training as an electronics technician (specialising in operating technology) and IT specialist (specialising in systems integration) for the first time from the 2024 training year.
In addition, the already broad and attractive spectrum will remain. The 3C-Carbon Group AG offers training as a carpenter, industrial mechanic, technical draughtsman and industrial clerk (all m/f/d). There are also individual opportunities for internships, bachelor's or master's theses, student traineeships, dual studies or direct entry. In accordance with the diverse and attractive offer and numerous young interested parties and good conversations at the 3C stand, the trade fair participation was a great success again this year

Apprentices shine once again

The very high value placed on training at 3C-Carbon Group AG was once again demonstrated this year by the outstanding graduations in the current training year. Numerous trainees successfully completed their training at 3C in the professions of carpenter, office management assistant, technical product design and industrial mechanic.

The 3C apprentices were again among the best in their respective final years and shone with consistently very good academic performance across all years.
Among others, the graduate of the carpentry apprenticeship stood out, who was honoured for particularly good performance at the most recent ceremony of the Landsberg district craftsmen's association. The journeyman's piece of carpentry was again made of the highest quality materials, a stylish and filigree highboard made of light oak and Fenix.
All graduates were taken on as permanent employees at 3C, with company boss Karsten Jerschke expressing his delight at the achievements of the young talent. "I personally and the entire 3C company are very proud of these great results. For a high-tech company like us, excellent training always has a very high priority." That is why the apprentices receive great support from experienced trainers right from the start. The goal is always to take them on and provide them with further training in the course of their long-term career at 3C.
Of course, 3C-Carbon Group AG will be represented again this year at the training fair in Kaufering (28/29 September) and is already looking forward to welcoming numerous new trainees in the various disciplines again in September 2023.

"We are touched and extremely grateful for this," says Marga Däubler from Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO). "Without the reliable and constant support of 3C, the operation of the multi-generation house in this form would not be possible."

In the MGH in Landsberg's historic town center, a wide range of social activities take place, for example, older citizens accompany newcomers to reading or support the graduation of secondary school students, senior citizens make their first excursions into the digital world, young people relieve parents as babysitters, and the Repair Café is also very popular.

This winter, the war in Ukraine with high numbers of refugees overshadows all activities. "No one should freeze" is the motto of the AWO and its MGH. "I am glad that the volunteers of the AWO immediately took care of the arriving women and children," says 3C CEO Karsten Jerschke.

The donation to the MGH, which has been increased substantially especially in times of crisis, is intended to improve the situation of those affected, at least financially. "Give recognition and actively help" is therefore the motto for this year's Christmas celebration for all those involved.
