With an open meeting place in the city centre, the facility is also aware that older citizens are in need of support and assistance. Every day, people warm up briefly over a cup of coffee or tea in the "Kratzertreff", read the newspaper or socialise.
Year after year, cost increases and cost-cutting measures cast a shadow over the social centre's plans. Now, thanks to the renewed commitment of 3C, the people involved have a load off their minds. Next year, all projects can be realised as planned in the multi-generation house.
