HC Landsberg has filled its last open spots in the squad and starts with the preparation games for the Bayernliga season 2023/24.
Two good acquaintances are the latest new signings of HC Landsberg for the 2023/24 season: Stephan Sailer (20) and Nico Miedl (19) come from the own junior team, have been active in the U20 DNL team so far, but have also helped out in the men's Oberliga. Last season, Miedl contributed 20 points in 23 games to the success of the youth team. Both young players occupy a defender position.
"We are looking forward to working with Stephan and Nico together," said Vice President Michael Grundei. "Our goal is always to bring out good players from our own youth and to integrate them into the first team. Both have already shown that one can rely on them and are top motivated.
TSV Landsberg is back at the top of the Bayernliga table. In front of a record-breaking crowd in Erlbach, Mölders' team won 1:0.
The narrow victory was enough to jump to the top, because Kottern's winning streak surprisingly snapped at 0:3 in Deisenhofen.
In front of more than 1400 spectators in Erlbach, Landsberg initially had a hard time with the very defensive hosts. After the break, however, Landsberg gained the upper hand and Cekik scored the decisive goal in the 64th minute after a brilliantly played counter-attack. In the final phase, they failed to increase their lead on several counterattacks, but the victory was no longer in danger.
HC Landsberg rewarded themselves for two strong performances: The 6:5 n.V. in Höchstadt was followed by a 5:3 home win against Memmingen and with these five points they remain in the race for the Pre-Play-Offs.
Mainly the points at the third-placed team in Höchstadt were not necessarily to be expected. In a hard-fought and exciting game, the lead changed back and forth several times. Shortly before the end of regulation time, Lavallee seemed to have put the Riverkings on the winning track with a goal to 4:5, but Höchstadt managed to equalise 5:5 seconds before the end. In overtime, Walker Sommer scored for Landsberg to make it 6-5 and bring home two points.
There, the game against Memmingen two days later did not start well for the hosts. In the derby in front of a good 1200 spectators, the Allgäu team took a 1:0 lead after only 52 seconds. However, with a lot of physical effort and fighting spirit, Landsberg managed to turn the game around. Sommer, Wagner and Gäbelein made it 3:1 in the meantime and the team did not let go of the game. In the final minute, it was Walker Sommer again who scored into the empty Memmingen goal for the final score.
This means that 10th place, which was the goal of the season, is still within reach.
Goals for the Riverkings in Höchstadt: Lavallee (2), Sommer (2), Wagner, Reuter.

Within only six days, ice hockey Oberliga team HC Landsberg played its first three test games. After victories in Grafing against Klostersee (5:3) and at home against Miesbach (7:2), they celebrated a clear 5:0 victory at their new cooperation partner ESV Buchloe.
In the three games, it was clear that although the fine-tuning still needs to be worked on, the major deficiency from the pre-season in the offensive is not an issue at the moment - 17 goals in three games speak for themselves.
The outstanding scorer was newcomer Jason Lavallee, who scored a total of seven times; he followed up three goals in Grafing with three against Miesbach and one in Buchloe. The other goals for Landsberg were spread over many shoulders: Stauder (3), Reuter, Strodel, Neal, Wagner, Krammer, Reicheneder and Carciola all scored for the Riverkings.
TSV Landsberg 1882 continues to lead the Football Bayernliga Süd. In Dachau, the team led by player-coaches Mölders and Hutterer turned the game around in the final minutes with an energetic performance and celebrated a 4:2 victory.
Until the 83rd minute, things had not looked good for the leaders. Stubhan had scored for Landsberg, but two goals by Kosuch gave the hosts a 2-1 lead. On top of that, captain Alexander Benede had to leave the field after 60 minutes after a controversial yellow-red card.
But then the top scorer struck again. Seven minutes before the end, Sascha Mölders scored his twelfth goal in eleven games to make it 2-2. This turned the game around. In the 88th minute, Negic was fouled in the penalty area and Spennesberger converted the subsequent penalty to make it 3:2 for Landsberg. In injury time, Negic himself scored the final goal to make it 4:2. With that result, Landsberg stays one point ahead of second placed Schalding.
